The Fourth Annual Adelaide Literary Award Contest 2020 ended, and the results were announced on January 31. As many of you already know,  there are several well-developed and tested methods in judging literary contests submissions, that help us apply numerical values to often abstract criteria for evaluation of literary excellence....

ADELAIDE BOOKS will be one of  62 American publishers at the Frankfurt Book Fair this year, from October 14 to 18. Compared with last year when more than 800 publishers from the USA took part in this biggest and most important annual event in the industry, it is obviously a big drop. 

This year’s Lisbon Book Fair, originally scheduled for May/June, will be held from August 27 to September 13. Our Portuguese imprint ADELAIDE BOOKS PORTUGAL will again this year take part as an exhibitor and we will launch during the Fair six of our new titles in Portuguese, together with our latest releases in English.
